Five Materials. One Printer. No Waste.
The Original Prusa XL combines a print volume of 360 × 360 × 360 mm with a lightning-fast tool changer for up to 5 materials simultaneously. Thanks to Input Shaper, Pressure Advance and a unique segmented heated bed with 16 individually controlled tiles, it delivers dimensionally accurate multi-material prints with a precision of 0.2 mm – with minimal material waste.

Print Volume
Large Build Volume 360 × 360 × 360 mm
The large build volume provides ample space for extensive models, functional prototypes or multiple components in a single print job. This allows development processes to be accelerated and even smaller series to be produced efficiently.
Precise CoreXY Motion System
The modern CoreXY system ensures fast and precise movements of the print head. The optimised mechanics reduce moving masses, enabling stable print processes, high print quality and clean surfaces.
Modular Toolchanger System
The Original Prusa XL supports a modular toolchanger system with multiple print heads. This allows different materials or colours to be used within a single print without having to constantly change filaments. This reduces print times and increases efficiency on complex projects.
Intelligent Control and Easy Operation
The printer can be conveniently controlled and monitored via the proven Prusa software environment. With PrusaSlicer and Prusa Connect, print jobs can be prepared, managed and monitored in real time.
Tool Changer Technology for True Multi-Material Printing
Up to 5 Materials. No Waste. Maximum Speed.
The Original Prusa XL uses a unique tool change system: each of the up to five print heads already has its filament loaded – when changing materials, the time-consuming filament retraction and loading process is eliminated entirely. Combined with Input Shaper, Pressure Advance and over 200 factory-tuned filament profiles, the XL is the fastest multi-material desktop printer on the market – and produces less waste than any comparable single-nozzle printer.
